Our studio

A creative home in the heart of St Asaph

Central Buildings

St Aspah

Rowe & Bear is based in the heart of St Asaph, North Wales, from a characterful building that has been part of the city for generations. Our studio provides a permanent home for the agency, a place to meet clients and a creative environment where strategies are developed, brands take shape and websites are brought to life.

Having established Rowe & Bear in North Wales in 2014, creating a studio here felt like a natural next step for the business. It gives us a base that reflects who we are as an agency while keeping us firmly connected to the area where our story began.

A building with a story

Long before becoming home to Rowe & Bear, the building was once occupied by Henry Jones’ Butchers, forming part of St Asaph’s long history of independent businesses and shops.

Some of that character remains visible today, including the original marble counters from the building’s former life as a butcher’s. Rather than removing the features that make the building distinctive, we’ve been keen to retain elements of its history while creating a modern working environment for the agency.

It’s a combination we particularly like: a building with genuine character and history that’s now being given a new purpose for the next generation of business in St Asaph.

From butcher's shop to creative studio

The purpose of the building may have changed considerably over the years, but in many ways it continues to do what it has done for generations: provide a home for an independent business in the centre of St Asaph.

Today, the studio is where we develop growth strategies, create brands, design websites, plan SEO campaigns, produce content and work alongside clients on the next stage of their businesses. It’s also becoming a physical representation of Rowe & Bear itself, combining the character of the original building with a clean, contemporary environment designed around the way we work.

Designed for collaboration

Digital tools have made it possible to work successfully with businesses almost anywhere, but we still believe there’s real value in getting people around a table. Understanding a business properly often comes from conversation, asking the right questions and exploring ideas together.

Our St Asaph studio gives us a dedicated environment for discovery meetings, strategy sessions, website planning, branding presentations and ongoing client reviews. For clients further afield, the same collaborative approach continues remotely through video meetings and digital tools, allowing us to work effectively with businesses throughout the UK.

A space for creativity

Our work covers strategy, branding, web design, SEO, content and digital marketing, so the studio needs to support a wide range of creative and strategic work.

Alongside our main workspace and meeting areas, we’re developing the studio as a place where we can create content, photograph products and projects, develop ideas and bring different parts of a client’s brand together under one roof.

As Rowe & Bear continues to grow, the studio will continue to evolve with us.

Based in North Wales, working across the UK

St Asaph is an important part of the Rowe & Bear story. Being based here puts us at the centre of North Wales while providing easy access to Wrexham, Chester, Wirral, Liverpool, Warrington and Manchester.

Our location doesn’t define the limits of our work. We partner with ambitious businesses and organisations across the UK, helping them strengthen their positioning, improve their digital presence, reach new customers and create sustainable long-term growth.

We’re proud to be building an agency in North Wales capable of delivering work for businesses both within the region and much further afield.

Visit Rowe & Bear

If you’re considering working with Rowe & Bear, you’re welcome to visit us at our St Asaph studio. A Discovery Call is usually the best place to start, giving us an opportunity to understand your business, what you’re looking to achieve and where we may be able to help.

From there, we can arrange a face-to-face meeting at the studio where it would be valuable to the project. Whether you’re planning a new brand or website, looking to improve your marketing or considering a longer-term growth partnership, we’d be happy to hear what you’re working on.
