Modern Slavery Statement
Our commitment
Rowe & Bear is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and with integrity. We recognise the importance of preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and exploitation within our business and supply chain.
Although Rowe & Bear is not currently required to publish a modern slavery statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to publish this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to responsible business practices.
Our business
Rowe & Bear is a business growth agency based in St Asaph, North Wales, working with businesses and organisations across the UK.
We provide services including strategy, branding, web design, SEO, content creation, digital marketing and ongoing website management.
As a professional services business, our direct exposure to modern slavery risks is considered relatively low. However, we recognise that risks can exist within wider supply chains and that businesses of all sizes have a responsibility to remain aware of them.
Our suppliers and partners
Our supply chain primarily consists of professional service providers, technology platforms, software providers, hosting and digital infrastructure companies, contractors and other specialist suppliers used in the delivery of our services.
Where appropriate, we consider the reputation, working practices and professional standards of the suppliers and partners we work with.
We expect those we work with to conduct their businesses lawfully and ethically and do not knowingly work with organisations involved in modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour or other forms of exploitation.
Our approach to modern slavery
We take a proportionate, risk-based approach that reflects the nature and size of our business.
- Our approach includes:
- Conducting our business ethically and with integrity
- Working with reputable suppliers, contractors and professional partners
- Remaining alert to potential modern slavery risks within our supply chain
- Considering ethical and responsible business practices when appointing suppliers
- Taking concerns regarding modern slavery or exploitation seriously
- Reviewing relationships with suppliers where credible concerns about their practices arise
If we became aware of evidence suggesting modern slavery or human trafficking within our business or supply chain, we would investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
Employees and contractors
We are committed to treating the people who work with Rowe & Bear fairly and with respect.
We expect employment and contractor relationships to comply with applicable UK employment legislation and do not tolerate forced labour, human trafficking, exploitation or unlawful working practices.
Raising concerns
Anyone working with or supplying Rowe & Bear who has concerns about potential modern slavery, human trafficking or unethical working practices connected with our business or supply chain is encouraged to raise those concerns with us.
Concerns can be reported confidentially by contacting:
Email: [email protected]
We will take genuine concerns seriously and consider appropriate action based on the circumstances.
Our ongoing commitment
We recognise that responsible business practices require ongoing attention.
As Rowe & Bear grows and our relationships with suppliers and partners develop, we will continue to consider modern slavery risks and review our approach where appropriate.
This voluntary statement reflects our current approach and commitment to conducting business responsibly.
